photography challenge: ikea
Another Photography Challenge, this time indoors. It was rather nice weather off and on today, sometimes sunny, sometimes spitty, but all in all pretty cold. So, we opted to take our day away to tackle a long-time thought of mine - to do a challenge inside the IKEA store. And, boy did we have a great time! After we got our heads wrapped around not taking the actual objects, but the design elements of the objects, we really got some interesting shots. I truly enjoyed playing with light and shadows, as well as texture...and, of course, trying to avoid the price tags!
We were prepared to tell any inquiring employees that we were on assignment for a photography class (which is not completely a fib), but not a one approached us. I'm thinkin' we are not the first to think of this...

How long will this challenge last? Can anybody take part in it?

It lasts as long as you have a camera in your hand and want to stretch yourself. I'd love to see your challenge pics, Jan! Start a blog and I'll follow! :-)
