dewdrops

In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter,
and sharing of pleasures.
For in the dew of little things the heart
finds its morning and is refreshed.”
~Kahlil Gibran

“Man's life is like a drop of dew on a leaf.”
~Socrates

The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere;
the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling;
vapor is ever rising.
Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming,
on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn,
as the round earth rolls.
~John Muir

“How cunningly nature hides every wrinkle of her
inconceivable antiquity under roses and violets and morning dew!”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Words are things, and a small drop of ink,
falling like dew upon a thought,
produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions, think”
~Lord Byron

"A picture is worth a thousand words," they say. They, whoever they are, might think that a picture of that worth defies captioning.

I disagree.

The quotes were choice. You know I love Gibran one-liners, even taken out of context; his was exceptional. But, I particularly loved Byron's words. Oh, my. I think I should memorize them!

And, the photos . . . my friend, they are stunning. You could have kept them all to yourself, but you didn't. Thanks.
