quail eggs

What does one do with quail eggs, other than photograph them?  I asked some of my friends for their wisdom...

"Oooo - you can let them dry out and use them in decorations - or try to blow them - but when they are sooo tiny that is really hard to do successfully."

"They're about 6 to 8 quail eggs to a chicken egg. I tend to use a little more oil when I cook them. Other than that, they make really good omelets."

"Take turns sitting on them until they hatch. This will buy you some time to think about what to do with the NEXT generation of eggs."

"Yell " EGG FIGHT!" and start throwing!"

Deb wants to know if you fed them to the cat?

No, we didn't feed them to the cat, but Alex enjoyed dropping one from the balcony. Does that count? :-P
