The Three-Day Road Trip

Well, actually it was supposed to be a 3-1/2 week road trip. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to cut it short (really short!) and come home to take care of business. *sigh*

So it goes.

However, I did get some interesting photos of our journey down to Idaho Falls, ID, and then back up through Idaho and Montana to get back home.

Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

enjoying the farmland with these guys...

our journey through Idaho and Montana was some of
the most beautiful countryside I have ever enjoyed

this was the first pic...going over Snoqualmie and hoping for sunnier skies

out the window in Oregon

This is what happens when you stop for Chukar Cherries!
Apparently waaaay too much chocolate...

Idaho potato fields in bloom - beautiful!

following the river northward

Number Hill in Arco, Idaho,
graduating classes recording their years since 1920!

wide open spaces feel wonderful to this city-girl

Craters of the Moon National Monument in Arco, Idaho -
a must see!

a few snaps from the Idaho Falls LDS Temple

Beautiful Idaho Falls, Idaho

views from Butte, Montana - there are mines everywhere you look in historic downtown...

Until the next time, I'll miss being on the open road...
a continuous state of being for this restless spirit.

Amazing shots, my friend! I love seeing the world through your lens - so different from my own! :o)

*sigh* Even though it was way too short, it was still fun road trippin' with my besties!
