"Friendship is never established as an understood relation.
It is a miracle which requires constant proofs.
It is an exercise of the purest imagination and of the rarest faith."

Clay designs by artist Barb Benning, Seattle
Ware, decorated with glaze washes, oxides, and/or slips is loaded into a special kiln for vapor glazing. When the maturing temperature of the clay is reached, soda ash and boiling water are sprayed into the kiln. The soda ash and water react with the alumina and silica in the clay to form a glaze surface on the ware. This firing process lends itself to the textured, tactile quality of the pieces.
These tiny pots measure approx. 1.25" in height.
