challenge: the charming town of poulsbo

This last Saturday my beautiful daughter had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in a friends wedding - her first time. Since I'm her official chauffeur, my bestie and I were 'stuck' hanging out during the wedding. So we decided to give ourselves a challenge in the charming town of Poulsbo.

We have had the opportunity to photograph in Poulsbo before, so this truly was a challenge to look at things in a new and different way. I certainly had fun, despite the recent sadness in my life. We stumbled upon a organic farmer's market and had a lot of fun shmoozing with the vendors. Then we ambled into historic Poulsbo and poked around antique and gifty shops 'til we wore ourselves out.

These may not be the best shots I have ever taken, and I seemed to muff up my camera settings for some of the day, but it was a pleasant break. I am thankful.

I particularly like the one of Lisa in the mirror. She is wearing the most beautiful smile I've seen in any of the picts of her before and it lights up her whole countenance.
